Manta is a band made up of three versatile musicians, which explores the small moments of life and becomes sensitive in the midst of strong moods. In Manta's music, you can hear echoes of tradition as well as the tones of pop music. The songs alternately take you to deep waters and light summer days, as the trio accompanies vocal harmonies with rhythmic textures formed by percussion, kantele, octave violin and guitar.

Manta is Oona Yliperttula (vocals, octave violin, guitar), Laura Ikonen (kantele, vocals) and Pauliina Kauppila (harpu, percussion, vocals).

Manta released the first single "Tuntuu että kuuluisin tänne" in 2022 and is preparing an EP release.
